DRIVER’S LICENSE INFORMATION

The fee to renew a Driver’s license is $38.25 and a duplicate is $33.25, CDL renewal is $38.25 OR $68.25 depending on class. License and Id cards may be renewed or duplicated Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. You must have a Certified Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Passport, Military ID or an expired Driver’s License/ID card in order to replace a lost or stolen Driver’s License/ID.

First time applicants must go to the State Department of Public Safety. The License Examiner is in Ozark on Monday and Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. they close for lunch at 12:00 p.m. and reopen at 1:00 p.m. at 202 S. Hwy 123, Ozark, AL 36360. 334-774-6229. You can also go to the Dothan State Troopers Office Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. 5679 Montgomery Hwy, Dothan, AL 36303. 334-983-5616
